Tad Drunk

On the way to Christine's to watch Pirates of the Caribbean I bought a 660ml bottle of Cobra Beer and drank it ALL. So that's me a little drunk. I then went with Gaz in his car to ASDA where I spent £10.56 I now how 12 jars of pasta sauce and a large block of cheap cheese, should be enough to keep my going for a while with that 3kg bag of pasta I still haven't opened. I also bought other things like biscuits yoghurt and ASDA's own lucazade substitute.

I made cake.

I say I made cake. What I actually did was take the things that I thought go into making a cake, mixed them together in a jug and then fried them in butter. The resulting squishy slab tasted like something inbetween an omelette and a pancake, only very salty. I didn't add any salt, I suspect the saltiness came from the butter.
I might have another go at it again, adjusting the ingredients and process. Hopefully I'll end up being able to make something good. Maybe I can turn it into a meal, throw in some peas or something.

Conservative Night Out

Gaz was had a gig tonight. I agreed to go despite the lack of information and organisation. It was only when I was in the taxi on the way there that I found out that he was playing in a conservative club. I presumed that the club had been rented for some sort of event.
My assumption was incorrect. We soon realised upon entering that this was a normal conservative club.. club night thing. Where we were certainly the youngest people there..much younger.

Guess who that is making fool of them self in front of a load of royalists.

WINTON IS FUN!

CELEBRATING LOCAL CULTURE: an interactive exhibition showcasing your local town and the forthcoming Winton and Charminster carnival!
Someone in the arts institute must have had the idea of having this flyer distributed with purchases in charity shops.
*pus on hat*
For them, a tip of the hat.
*tips hat*

Which does remind me. I bought some books in a charity shop today. I bought the His Dark Materials trilogy and Irvine Welsh's Filth all in incredibly good condition. I suspect unread. In total it cost me £2.00

Attempted Revival

So I'm going to try and start making frequent updates again. I'll probably fail, but I will try. More importantly I'm also going to try and do other things daily. These things include sleeping, eating and doing some work. Also exercise and showering. I can feel hayfever beginning. *puts foot in bean juice* Er... let's add tidying my room to that list shall we?
Hayfever. Yes. I will have to see if I can process that HC1 that I never got around to doing so that I can get free drugs. I should do it soon as well because it is most likely going to hit soon and hard.

Let's look at my list:-

• Sleep - This is necessary and enjoyable. I'm making the ridiculous aim of 10 hours a night. "8 hours is all you need" they say but I don't think it is for me. I think I'm special.

• Eat - Also necessary but not quite as enjoyable. Plan is at least to at lest have breakfast and a large meal. Aiming for two eggs everyday.. 'cause eggs are good, probably.

• Work - Really needs to be done. Doing a little each day makes it less threatening and also means more should get done.

• Exercise - *shrug* I want extra flexibility and ability to flip.

• Tidy room - If it is to remain tidy I need to work on it daily. Assumption is that I will have a happier life if my room is more tidy

I managed to do a front flip today. Hooray, it was very scruffy, all my weight ends up on my right arm at the point that I go over and land. More practice.

Now. I must away, set iCal to tell me to go to bed every night and make some food.

A good day for spending.

Yesterday I spent a lot of money. It started in the morning when I spent about £84 inc. postage on a 300GB IDE HDD. HOWEVER! They rang me yesterday when may phone was turned off asking me to ring back. I rang back today and found out that it was so that they could tell me that they could only send to my billing address, the only reason I went with them and not another slightly cheaper place was because I wanted to avoid that problem. So I will now get someone to buy it for me from the cheaper place. I cancelled the order.

Next was my library books fine.
receipt of library fines, £7.40
As you can see it's quite high. I was trying to use it as a technique to get me to do my work.

Then there was an ASDA shop. I spent lots of money.. but I bought lots of things. Including much veg.

very long ASDA Receipt totalling about £54

I then went back to the other place that I was going to buy the HDD from.. only I got someone else to buy t for me. Giving them the money of course. And they received dispatch notice this evening.. so hopefully it will arrive in the morning.

The Third Gender

Someone had added me on Flickr. This was a surprise. So I went to have a look at who this was. It was no one I recognised. They seemed completely unrelated to me by any way I could think of.
I was looking through their list of contacts trying to find a link to me.. perhaps someone I knew. I remarked to my mother "They have masses of contacts. Three pages full. And I'm the only male among them I think." It was then that she pointed out why they had added me as a contact. I won't tell you why. I'll just let you follow the link to their profile and also to this old post that I made. (Also massive clue in this post title.)
The thing that still puzzles me though is how did they find me? As far as I am aware I am sort of blacklisted from Flickr's 'global' areas; you can't find my photos from using the usual search or browse facilities that they provide.

Strip Club

Yeah. I've just come home from a strip club. A worthwhile experience. It was so interesting and enlightening that I don't begrudge the £5 entry fee that I paid. It was Gavin's 21st birthday and I'm fairly confident that up until the point that I left at least he had a good time. I chipped in £1 towards his personal topless dance. It was £5 before 11pm and we had enough money between us so we had two girls perform simultaneously for him. Sadly but entirely justifiably photography was prohibited, so there are no pictures to back this up. Would have made my blog instantly at least 100% more interesting.
I was not happy though about the smoke.. bleurgh. I gained a sore throat.
It was when they decided to move to elements that I decided to go home. I'm not one for the drinking culture. But the sex culture.. That's something I might be able to get into.. slowly. (No pun intended.)

Talking of which.. I have a link that I received in an email that's worth putting up here at this point.

Pink Aid
Pinkgasm

I have yet to explore these pages fully but I do like the quote on their blog.
"we are not porn stars, we are sexual super heroes."

Looking back at what I have just written. I can't really see myself getting into some kind of sex culture. That was just a moment of crazy liberal thinking.
